Athlone Dental: Appointment Deposit Policy

At Athlone Dental, we are committed to providing exceptional care to all our patients. To ensure our clinic runs efficiently and to minimize waiting times for those in need of treatment, we have implemented the following deposit policy.

1. Deposit Requirements
To secure your booking, a refundable deposit of €50 is required at the time of scheduling.

For Extended Appointments: If your procedure requires more than one hour, the deposit will be calculated as a prepayment of 25% of the total procedure fee.

2. When is the Deposit Refundable?
Your deposit is fully refundable or transferable under the following conditions:

Attending Your Visit: The deposit will be credited toward your treatment on the day. If no chargeable procedure is performed during your visit, the amount will be refunded in full.

Cancellations (48-Hour Notice): If you need to reschedule or cancel, please notify us at least 48 hours before your appointment. We will happily refund the deposit or keep it on your account for future use.

3. Non-Refundable Scenarios
To respect our clinicians’ time and other patients waiting for care, the deposit will be forfeited in these instances:

No Shows: Failure to attend your scheduled appointment without prior notice.

Late Cancellations: Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice.

4. How to Process a Refund
For your security, we cannot process refunds over the phone. To receive a refund, patients must present their physical payment card at our reception desk. We appreciate your understanding regarding this security measure.
